A gluten free chocolate cake recipe that uses fresh fruit, jam and buttercream can be topped with homemade ice cream and fresh berries, and you can have a full meal.
It’s a dessert that is simple to make and easy to prepare with a variety of ingredients, said Sarah Smith, owner of A Sweet Sweet Kitchen.
Smith and her husband are avid gluten free eaters, so they are trying out gluten free foods they can enjoy at home.
They have two daughters.
“Our goal is to get them to try gluten free recipes, but the recipes we are trying are fun, so we can share them with them and show them how easy they can be,” Smith said.
The Smiths opened A Sweet Sugar Kitchen in January 2017 after making a video on how to make a gluten- free dessert using canned pineapple, fresh fruit and jam, and they’ve received positive feedback.””

“My daughter, she really liked the taste and she liked that it was a gluten, nut free dessert,” Smith told The Washington Post.
“She was like, ‘This is perfect.'”
For Smith, a professional pastry chef, it’s an easy recipe to create.
Her first batch of homemade jam, fruit jam and frozen strawberries was a success, and she’s hoping the same will be true with her new creations.
“We are just getting started with our family and we have a lot of fun,” Smith added.
